Hand Painted Fitted Bedroom Furniture
After visiting Matthew James to discuss
our kitchen, we decided to ask them to look at our bedroom
too.
We knew
what we needed with regards to the type of storage, but as we had a few awkward
shapes within the room, we thought it best to leave the design to Anna and Mike
and they did a fantastic job. Working around the sloping ceilings, they were
able to create a stunning run of fitted wardrobes, with an ambundance of
storage. The dressing area was fitted with sloping shelves to either side
giving us ample shoe storage, with drawers being built-in beneath the
window.
The
television was hidden away in a TV cabinet opposite the end of the bed, that
rose up at the press of a button with the use of a concealed TV lift system.
We'd seen this in their showroom and loved the idea of being able to hide the
television away.
The bedsides were added together with the headboard,
finishing them both with an Oak top as we did in the dressing room, which was a
beautiful contrast again the White Tie, chosen from Farrow & Ball's colour
palette. |
